The rooms was so dirty , I couldnt check in at the guset house room , I didnt like the hotel at all I cancelled my last night to come back to Kuala
What I like most is the way the hotels keep the environment clean and beautify it with lots of plants . The resort has the nicest ambient with an affordable price to pay for a non local visitors and the hostel also quite affordable for local.
I did not like the quiet morning and nice ambient being disturbed by the roaming of the boat engine. The sound really killed the calmness and quietness of the jungle. For a couple who really want to enjoy the calm and romatic ambient, this is not the place. Besides we cannot see much of wild animals compared 14 years back during my schooling time when I 1st came to Taman Negara. Maybe all the animals are scared by the sounds of the engine.
Staff was quite stuck up at this hotel. Felt as if we were at their service.
The location is great on the park side of the river.
The food in the restaurant is over priced but it is easy to cross the river to reach the other restaurants.
Great location, nice rooms.
Although we booked a non smoking room, the room did smell like an ashtray. The diner buffet was expensive and was not value for money.
The chalet was nice and cosy. The restaurant was inviting and breakfast was of a good standard. The evening buffet was good value. The hotel's close proximity to the jungle and the trails from the hotel were interesting. The Park centre had very nice staff/
The bathroom of our chalet needed renovation. The floors of the chalet needed a good clean as the corners of the rooms were full of dust etc. There should be a designated boat belonging to the hotel to take guests there. MOst of the boats were old and dangerous for heavier people!
The environmental so calm and clean as well. It makes me feel comfortable stayed at this lovely hotel.
We stayed two nights. The public car park to the hotel is about 5 minutes boat ride across the river. It's so close to nature, we had a wild boar roaming next to our balcony. Jungle tracking to the canopy walk starts conveniently from the back of the hotel property. The boat ride to the cascade is from the hotel jetty making it convenient for activities.
The water-heater and bathroom basin are dirty, in fact, disgusting.
Absolutely perfect location! Restaurant and resort are convenient, staffing is friendlt and helpfull.
The rooms and bathroom need an upgrade considering price of the ressort.
- location - greenery in the campus - food
While checking out, the luggage was lowered down the ramp to the Jetty only up to the intermediate level. Remaining distance had to be covered by ourselves. It was drizzling, the place was slippery and my daughter skidded while carrying the luggage. This was dangerous and could have caused major injury. Hotel stuff should help bring the luggage up to the Jetty
The location, concept, nature and cleanness.
Location and interiors
Facilities were not much. They should at least provide a phone in the rooms. EAch time for any request we had to walk till the reception. There is no wifi facilitiy and the internet is available only at the reception which was worst. They are still in the 90's using the old computers and operating system. For a 10 mins browsing it almost took me 1.15 mins to complete my browsing. Please improve.
The location is excellent. We saw more animals on the resort than we saw in the jungle. The chalets are nice and clean considering you are in a jungle! There is a useful shop on site as well as a restaurant which sells the only alcohol I came across while there. Definitely recommend it if you are exploring Taman Negara.
The food is the biggest let down. The restaurant has a wide selection of food (mainly western), which is not to a very high standard. They would be better doing traditional Malay meals. Also the rooms are a bit dark but that isn't a big issue.
This was an expensive choice for us and we only stayed 4 nights because the Holiday View hotel let us down- but I'm so glad we did. The location, almost within the rainforest, means that you can walk out of your chalet and see fantastic wildlife literally on your doorstep- we say a hornbill, a tapir, lots of monkeys and wild boar all near our chalet. The chalets are clean, a nice size and very comfortable, breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the river was great and the staff were helpful.
Just the price- but compared with British prices and the value of the location it was not so much really.
great place in the tamara negara. best to come here with the boat from Kuale Tembeling. We saw a tapir on the resort!
